Claudio Pizarro: Deal Or No Deal?

The signing of Claudio Pizarro has become yet another saga.

Reports are flying around that he was offered £45,000 a week but it seems that other clubs such as Juventus, Valencia and Inter Milan are all ready to swoop and attempt to snatch the signature of the Bayern Munich striker who is out of contract this summer.

Time will tell if the Peruvian will sign or not but it’s unlikely.

As a final thought on this matter, if Rangers did offer 40 odd grand a week, is that such a wise move at this point in time?
