Rangers Set To Sign Andrius Velicka

Andrius Velicka admits he would welcome a move to Rangers – little more than three months after quitting Hearts for Viking Stavanger.

The Lithuanian striker has been linked with a return to the SPL, with reports claiming Walter Smith is ready to pay around £1million for his services.

Reports are suggesting Martin Bain headed to Norway earlier today to tie up the deal with both the player and his current club.

However, Norwegian clubs are in the middle of their season and their own transfer window does not open until August.

  • i would like 2 c velicka and klasnic up at ibrox

  • Well it looks like Velicka will be coming to Ibrox. Talks seem like they are progressing well and remember the Director their is Egil Ostenstad (remember that dud at Ibrox?)

I am looking forward to seeing him in action for us. He has a good goal scoring record in the SPL.

I don’t think Klasnic will come though. There has been nothing spoken about it and to be honest there is a lot of risk there due to him being out for 2 years with a knee injury and a kidney operation

  • true but this could be what he needs playing agaisnt teams who r in a two team league so he can get his confidents back but im worried coz the other teams are quiet rough dont you think we should have a go or that accies superkid james mcarthy

  • James McArthy would be a cracking signing but he is a Celtic fan and if we went in for him, Celtic would too and then he would go to them.

Apparently Palermo in Serie A want him and Hamilton have told them he is worth 4M. This would frighten rangers away

  • for sure rangers look to be of mark reynolds as they said no
