Ibrox boss Smith has also been linked with a £5million move for 24-year-old Juventus and Italy winger Raffaele Palladino.
True or not Fiorentina have also been linked with the winger and other reports out of Italy are saying he may well be staying with Juventus.

I have read that Walter Smith has been keeping tabs on this player for a long time although after reading that rangers will get next to none of the money for the European run and the sale of Alan Hutton.
This leads me to think we will never be able to afford him.
What does others think?

Also Rangers are going back in with an increased bid for Mark Reynolds of Motherwell. Although Mark Mcghee stated that he wants to keep his top stars and if any were to leave he would walk out the door with them.
Time will tell if we sign him or not. I would not mind him at ibrox as he is quick and is a natural left sided central defender and would be perfect next to carlos cuellar. He could make reynolds a better player.
Put it this way he is much better than Kirk Broadfoot and Andy Webster is the new Daniel Prodan in terms of injuries.

If Gattuso rates him and has told Walter to target him, he must be worth the cash….Gattuso still loves the Gers and would not feed WS with any BS, so if he is the right man then we will buy him !
Simple 1 the Gers will be Scotland’s N0 1 for the next few Years and the players we need will get bought, we are building a team, not selling !

Why does walter only have £6 million for transfers? We got £9 million for hutton and around £25 million for the uefa cup and champions league last season. we should have more transfer funds. celtic never spent a lot after seville and got humped that season in the league

I think WS will get us a bit of flair for the coming season,he’ll get some of the dead wood out 1st and Im sure we’ll be a better playing team-WATP
