I’m not going to go over all the other names I have mentioned before as there has been no progress made with any of those players in regard to signing a deal apart from the two mentioned below under the heading gossip.
Gossip
Carlos Cuellar – “Osasuna know it is my wish to sign for Rangers but I do understand they will only let me go when they are happy with the price. That is their right.”
Alan Smith – “If you’re no longer wanted, then you have to consider your options. I want to be out there from the start.” (Interested clubs include Middlesbrough, Spurs, Aston Villa, Everton and Rangers)
Rumoured Interest
Matthias Bjarsmyr – IFK Gothenburg fullback
Razvan Dinca Rat – Shakhtar Donetsk fullback

Alan Smith is the player we need! We should offer him what he wants and make him a Rangers player soon as possible.

Alan Smith would be a great signing, he has played at the top level with manchester united and would be a great addition to a rangers team that has been lacking someone with his passion for a few years. Get him signed
